Went for a walk through the nearby park today (Aug. 3). Taking my time but cognizant of of the approaching rain. Mainly looking for platypus in the stream that runs through the park, and checking out some new areas. Bring on the trails again reminded me of running and it got me think, "My toe isn't hurting that bad." After I turned around I decided to give running a go. Sure enough, it went well. There were a couple points where I felt a little pain but nothing horrible. Plus, I would run for a bit, then walk a bit, run a bit, and finally walked it home. So I definitely have high hopes for the coming weeks to really get back out there. :)
